1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or receiving services from Reiki Dog Healing, you (“client,” “pet owner,” or “you”) agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional service agreements. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Nature of Services

Reiki Dog Healing provides Reiki energy healing and holistic wellness support for dogs.

• Reiki is a complementary wellness service, focused on relaxation, emotional balance, and energetic well-being.
• Reiki does not diagnose, treat, or replace veterinary care.
• We may discuss observations or wellness support, but we do not provide veterinary, medical, or behavioral advice.

You agree to continue regular veterinary care for your dog and to consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns.

3. Client Responsibilities

By booking a session, you confirm that:

• You are the legal owner or have permission to act for the dog
• The dog is safe to handle, not aggressive, and not a danger to others
• You will disclose any behavioral concerns, health conditions, or special needs
• You will follow safety and session guidelines provided by Reiki Dog Healing

You acknowledge that animals control their own healing experience, and results vary for each dog.

4. Appointments, Cancellations & Refunds

Scheduling

Sessions may take place in person, remotely, or as otherwise arranged.

Cancellations

• Please provide at least 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
• Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of session payment, at our discretion.

Refund Policy

Because Reiki is a service and energetic experience, results are not guaranteed, and payments are generally non-refundable once services are provided.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment is required as stated during booking (before or at time of session).
• We may use third-party payment processors; those terms apply in addition to ours.
• Prices may change at any time, but confirmed bookings will honor the price at time of scheduling.

6. Safety & Well-Being

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse or discontinue a session if a dog appears distressed, aggressive, unsafe, or unwell
• Recommend veterinary care if we feel it is necessary
• Terminate services if terms are violated or safety becomes a concern

The comfort and well-being of the animal always come first.

7. Legal Disclaimer

Reiki Dog Healing does not make medical claims or promises of outcome.
You acknowledge and agree that:

• Reiki is not veterinary medicine
• Reiki is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or medication
• You remain responsible for your dog’s healthcare decisions

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reiki Dog Healing is not liable for:

• Injury, illness, emotional response, or behavioral reactions of your dog
• Decisions you make regarding your dog’s health
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

You agree to hold Reiki Dog Healing harmless from claims, losses, damages, or expenses related to participation in services.

9. Confidentiality & Privacy

We respect your privacy. Client information and session notes are kept confidential and handled according to our Privacy Policy. We will not share information without permission unless required by law.

If photos/testimonials are requested for social media or marketing, separate consent will be obtained.

10. Remote / Distance Reiki

For distance Reiki sessions:

• You understand energy work does not require physical presence
• You agree to create a safe, relaxed environment for your dog during the session when possible
• Results may be subtle, emotional, or behavioral rather than physical

11. Communication

General wellness discussion may occur, but nothing shared should be interpreted as medical, behavioral, training, or emergency guidance. Always consult a veterinarian for health concerns or emergencies.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use of services means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state or region in which Reiki Dog Healing operates, unless otherwise required by law.
